HISTORAGE
The project envisions an exhibition path that merges with the archaeologists’ workspaces, turning their daily activity into part of the display itself.
Vertical partitions and horizontal shelves replace traditional walls, creating a porous filter between the exhibition route and the storage area for excavated artifacts.

Located on Lazzaretto Nuovo in Venice, the pavilion reuses the residual space along the perimeter wall to form an “archaeological garden” — a shaded resting area beneath an existing tree that extends the exhibition outdoors.
Built from locally sourced wood and dry-mounted steel joints, the structure emphasizes reversibility and sustainable reuse.
